Crechè
Jesus shows us that infants and toddlers are priceless parts of our church family. In Luke 18: 15-17, we read, “Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 17 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” In Southland Creche, our littlest family members can be cared for by parents and caregivers, and our caring volunteers while surrounded by age-appropriate toys and comfortable seating. Our service is livestreamed into the creche room.
We provide a safe and secure Creche room for use by parents/guardians of children aged from 0 to 3 yeas old, to relax while their children play.
You can listen to the service via head sets provided while keeping an eye on your little one.
The creche is manned on a roster and you are welcome to sign your child in at check-in desk. Nursing mothers are very welcome.

Angels with Dirty Faces
Being a parent of young children can be isolating. For some, the friendships we make with those going through a similar life journey can last a lifetime. It is with this in mind that Anthea had a vision to start a playgroup at Southland Church for anyone with preschool age children, whether they were members of our church or not.
Running during term time Angels with Dirty Faces is a safe place for parents/guardians to bring their preschoolers to hang out for a couple of hours on Tuesday mornings and enjoy age appropriate play, songs, games and sharing the “preschool parent life” together.
We are registered with Playgroup SA and in lieu of a weekly payment to attend Playgroup we ask that all attendees register as a family with Playgroup SA and pay $35 for the year. This affords you with insurance to attend playgroups and provides access to the many benefits that Playgroup SA extends to their members. We will provide you with all the necessary information on how to register. There is nothing else to pay. We hope you will join us on Tuesdays mornings from 9.15am to 11am during the school terms.
